The WJ69 remote I/O module can be utilized to measure eight-channel encoder signals, and it can alternatively be configured as a 16-channel independent counter or DI state measurement.

The communication protocol supports two protocols; a character protocol defined by the command set and the MODBUS RTU communication protocol. The module can recognize the communication protocol automatically and is capable of achieving network communication with PLC, RTU or computer monitoring systems of various brands.
The data format supported by communication is 10 bits - 1 start bit, 8 data bits, and 1 stop bit with no verification.
