The WJ69 remote I/O module has the capability to measure eight-channel encoder signals as well as being able to function as a 16-channel independent counter or DI state measurement.
The WJ69 module allows for 8-channel encoder signal input or 16-channel independent counter which can be connected to dry contact and wet contact. Please refer to the wiring diagram section for detailed information on connection.
The WJ69 module has a standard RS-485 communication interface or RS-232 communication interface, which can be specified during ordering and selection. It supports two protocols: the character protocol defined by the command set and the MODBUS RTU communication protocol.
Furthermore, the module can automatically recognize the communication protocol and can establish network communication with various brands of PLC, RTU or computer monitoring systems.
The data format is 10 bits and consists of 1 start bit, 8 data bits, and 1 stop bit. It does not include verification.
